This post features student writing.

We started our day at a wood carving village, where we explored, ate good desserts, and enjoyed checking out various wooden sculptures. It was cool to see the intricate detail put into each piece of wood. Afterward, we ate lunch by a lake with pretty views, then paddle boated around a mini-lagoon. Everyone really enjoyed this activity!

Later, we came back to our village to enjoy some down time and prepare for tonight’s “Coffee House” talent show. We all had a really great time at the talent show — in addition to dancing, lip syncing, and reciting our poetry, we presented our independent projects! We look forward to tomorrow and hope to have a meaningful departure.
