Santa Cruz Island

Though our walk to Tortuga Bay beach was a little long, particularly since we were carrying our surf and boogie boards, the journey was totally worth it. For many of us, this marked our first time surfing. We laughed as the waves crashed over our heads, sending us tumbling off our boards time and time again. While many of us attempted to surf, others boogie-boarded, played beach volleyball, or simply relaxed on our towels. Later that night, we split up for dinner at a street food market and made our way to the best ice cream shop in town for dessert. It was a great day on Santa Cruz Island!
